Your contribution to Good Food Kitchens supports restaurants preparing free nourishing and culturally appropriate meals to community members in need, helping to keep restaurant doors open, staff employed, and supporting local producers and long-term local food resiliency. 

The restaurant and catering partners we are supporting with available funds are currently providing more than 2,000 monthly community meals for distribution through their community partners, as well as directly to individuals in need. 

Our community faces a number of significant challenges. Food insecurity in our state is at unprecedented levels, and that was before additional federal cuts. With the loss of federal funding, state and local resources aren’t enough to meet the need. Community support has never been more important.

These restaurants are regularly preparing these meals largely at their own expense. They know the problem of food insecurity for our most vulnerable neighbors is not over, and they don’t intend to stop any time soon. Any contribution you can make has real, meaningful impact for our partners and is greatly valued.
